Dua Lipa, Coldplay and Sza are the headline acts for Glastonbury 2024.
But would you believe that there’s a group even bigger than the headliners, tucked away on Friday afternoon’s schedule on the Pyramid Stage? For the first time ever, a K-Pop act will be appearing at the famous festival.
And while they’re obviously known to their millions of fans worldwide, your average Glastonbury festivalgoer probably hasn’t heard of them. They are the boy group Seventeen, due on the Pyramid Stage on Friday at 2.45pm.

The boy group comes from South Korea, and despite their name there are 13 members. And while you might not have heard of them, they’re serious business.
Last year, they were one of the top selling artists globally. Only Taylor Swift beat them, with her endless versions of albums and re-releases.
In 2023, Seventeen had more than 10million album sales. Their mini-album FML sold more than 4.5m copies in its first week, breaking records as the most-sold K-Pop album in its opening week.
Then with the addition of streams, downloads and other physical sales, the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry announced FML was the biggest-selling album worldwide in 2023.
The group has more than 6.7m monthly listeners on Spotify too, so they’re not one to be ignored. They’re set to bring a performance that Glastonbury has never seen, with their slick choreo combined with their powerful music.
Group leader S Coups told BBS: “There’s a great sense of responsibility. We’ll keep coming back to that feeling and do our best to prepare, so that we can blow everybody away. Not just our fans, but every other member of the audience.”
And the earlier slot on the line-up doesn’t worry them – in fact it may play to their advantage. The K-Pop idol added: “It’s actually even better that we’ll be performing in the afternoon because the audience can see us better under sunlight.”
Also on the Pyramid Stage on Friday are Squeeze, Olivia Dean, Paul Heaton, PJ Harvey, LCD Soundsytem and headliner Dua Lipa.
