Good Morning Britain presenter Richard Arnold laughed off a night in a hotel with Laura Tobin as he explained where she was.
Richard appeared on the ITV show to bring all the latest entertainment news. And it was during his segment that he revealed that he and Laura enjoyed a night out at the two-year anniversary of ABBA Voyage.
The duo shared fun photos from their evening out, with Laura really looking the part in a shimmering purple jumpsuit. But the weather presenter was nowhere to be seen on the show on Tuesday (May 28).

Luckily, it was soon explained that she hadn’t slept in or pulled a sickie. The day’s co-host Charlotte Hawkins said: “I don’t know how fresh you’re feeling after celebrating the ABBA anniversary?”
Richard added: “And after taking Laura Tobin. I said, ‘Laura, would you like to come to the second anniversary of ABBA Voyage?’
“She said, ‘I’d love to. I’ve booked a hotel room.’ I said, ‘Well that escalated, Laura. We’ve worked together for over 10 years, baby steps!'”
He laughed as he went on: “She’s committed.”
But Charlotte soon said: “She’d already booked today off, hadn’t she?” And Richard confirmed: “Yes, she’s not a no show, I can assure you.”
However, true to style, Richard Madeley soon butted in, joking: “She’s in a skip somewhere on the way in.”
Laura wasn’t the only person away from the show, though, as Susanna Reid’s seat was being filled by Charlotte. Susanna often takes breaks from the show to coincide with school holidays.
Good Morning Britain airs weekdays at 6am on ITV
