Susanna Reid told viewers to stay calm on Good Morning Britain when she shared some major news.
Sitting alongside her co-host Richard Madeley, Susanna gave fans are warning following another jam-packed show on Thursday morning (March 28). When it was time to say bye, Susanna said: “That brings us to the end of Good Morning Britain!
“We’re back tomorrow from 6am, I’m off for Easter, please don’t panic, I’m back in a couple of weeks! ” Richard joked back, saying: “Lucky old you!”

Daily Star is not aware of who will take Susanna’s place yet while she’s having a break. But usually, Kate Garraway, Ranvir Singh or Charlotte Hawkins might fill in, according to The Mirror.
The big hosts like Susanna, Lorraine Kelly and the ones from This Morning often take a little holiday during Easter and summer. News anchor Susanna has been really busy this week because she popped up on Lorraine’s show and gave her a big surprise!
While Lorraine was talking to Tyler West, Susanna walked in with party music playing, and Lorraine couldn’t believe it! Susanna swiped the spotlights as she surprised Lorraine in her own studio.
The 54-year-old was seen on camera, confessing to viewers about the big surprise she was about to give Lorraine, all while Tyler went along with it in the background. Confused Lorraine found Susanna walking into her studio, where she revealed: “Good morning Lorraine, this has come as an enormous surprise…
“I have a very special announcement for you, Lorraine Kelly. It doesn’t get much bigger or more deserved than this.”
Susanna broke the news that BAFTA is set to celebrate Roxanne’s 40 years in broadcasting. Beyond just being nominated, Lorraine had another something special, unique only to her.
Susanna then announced: “This is the first time something like this has been announced on air. On behalf of the BAFTA board of trustees, we are delighted to offer you Lorraine Kelly the Academy Special Award to be presented at this year’s BAFTA Television Awards.”
Lorraine could barely speak and eventually exclaimed: “That is nuts, that’s nuts.” Questioning whether this was some sort of prank, she asked: “Where are Ant and Dec? It can’t be a prank because it’s Susanna! “
