Gogglebox legend Stephen Lustig-Webb is reportedly stepping back into the dating pool on Celebs Go Dating just weeks after his split from Daniel Lustig.
The Channel 4 favourite, 52, called it quits with his ex-husband last month, 59, after six years of marriage. The pair shot to fame on the commentary show which they starred on together for over a decade, reports the Express.
But after shocking viewers with their breakup, The Sun has claimed that the TV star has been scouted by TV bosses for the latest series of the dating programme. An insider told the publication: “Stephen is set to sign up for Celebs Go Dating after successful advanced talks with E4 producers.

“Bosses were really keen to get him as soon as they heard he and Stephen had split as they know viewers will invest in his path to finding love again, and he’s already a big favourite with Channel 4 viewers after years on Gogglebox.”
They added: “Stephen is also really keen to have some fun again after a difficult few months, and he’s also raring to get back on TV after having to step down from Dancing on Ice due to injury.”
Daily Star has reached out to Stephen’s representatives for a comment. Last year, the Gogglebox told fans on Instagram that he and Daniel would be quitting the programme in an emotional post.
He’s been part of the Gogglebox furniture since it first hit screens in 2013. Stephen wrote: “After careful consideration, Daniel and I have decided we will not be returning for the new series of Gogglebox.
“We feel the time is right to move on and explore other opportunities. We would both like to thank Channel 4 and Studio Lambert for letting us be part of this amazing, funny and heartwarming show.”
Last October, he had no choice but to bow out of Dancing on Ice after a nasty ankle break during rehearsals. This injury also forced him to withdraw from participating in the 2024 London Marathon.
Celebs Go Dating sees a line-up of celebs put their hearts on the line to find love with the guidance of dating gurus Anna Richardson and Paul Brunson.
Stars such as Ulrika Jonsson, Joey Essex, Kerry Katona, Charlotte Crosby and Sam Thompson have previously sought romance on the show. Fans are eagerly awaiting the announcement of when the 13th season will hit our screens.
