Gogglebox star issues update on ‘worrying’ time after son hospitalised twice in a month

Gogglebox star Ellie Warner has revealed her baby son has been hospitalised two times in a month.

The TV star has been a firm favourite on the Channel 4 show since 2015, along with sister Izzi. And in June last year, Ellie and partner Natt, welcomed her first child, Ezra in June.

Since then, she has been keeping her loyal legion of fans updated on the new chapter in their lives. But Ellie has recently issued an update on the tot after being rushed to hospital.

Taking to her Instagram on Monday (April 1) issued an update on baby Ezra in a bid to be “transparent” on social media. Alongside snaps of the tot, she revealed he had been diagnosed with a viral chest infection.

She penned in the caption: “March dump! Nothing spectacular or eventful, Ezra had 2 hospital stays for bronchiolitis. First Mother’s Day, back to work after maternity leave, went on some walks! I like the simple life what can I say. Ezra is doing well now.”

She added: “I’m just putting this up here for balance, social media is saturated with everyone’s gorgeous Easter photos, but remember not everything is as you see on social media.”

Fans were quick to send their support to Ellie. Rushing to the comment section, one person said: “Glad he’s doing better now.”

Someone else added: “Well said Ellie. Glad Ezra is OK. How worrying for you. Not easy being a Mummy. Hoping April is better. Go and jump in the puddles with him xx.” A third penned: “I hope Ezra’s doing ok.”

In March 2022, Ellie’s partner suffered a broken neck and back, two collapsed lungs, and needed life support following a horror accident in which he was hit by a car.

Despite the tragic accident, Nat was able to recover and the pair even announced they were expecting their first baby together the following year. The adorable baby boy, Ezra came into the world on June 2 2023, and even made a last minute Gogglebox debut.
