Hollywood star Glenn Close has shared a concerning photo of herself to her social media, sparking worry from fans.
Close, 76, has been in the film industry for decades, with some of her biggest roles coming in the box office smashes Fatal Attraction and 101 Dalmatians. Taking on iconic villain roles including Cruella de Vil, Close’s emotional portrayals have earned her numerous gongs for her acting skills.
Now, she has shared a new set of snaps with her fans on her social media accounts, but fans have been less than impressed with her new look. In a candid set of pics, Glenn bravely bore all as she showed off her fully natural face, with not a drop of make up in sight.

But whilst her face radiated a beautiful glow, so too did the bruising that was prominent on the actress’ mug. Ever the optimist, however, Glenn was able to perfectly explain her mystery injuries to her fans.
Taking to the caption, she addressed the small bruises that were picked up on around her eyes that left fans confused and concerned. She beamed as she typed: “I think this is going to be a particularly GOOD day.”
She finished the caption: “(Ignore the bruises. I had a tiny break in my nose fixed!) Feeling as beautiful as ever.”
Following the post being uploaded, Close was immediately inundated with messages and love and support by good pals and fans alike. Amongst those who took to the comments section was fellow actress and model Lily Collins, who simply paid tribute to the star, “Omg love you!”
Similarly, other fans of the actress were happy to see the actress in fighting shape. One user beamed: “I just love the way you are able to laugh at yourself, Glenn!”
A second account also got in touch, joking: “Mornings with Glenn, the best way to start the day.” Whilst a third user added: “Aaaaaaahhhhh just when I thought I couldn’t love you more,” followed by a series of emojis.
There has been no rest for the wicked for Glenn as she continues to land gig after gig. Currently, the actress is starring in the new Apple TV+ drama The New Look, alongside John Malkovich and Game of Thrones star Maisie Williams.
The drama follows the struggles of fashion design houses including Coco Chanel and Christian Dior as they try to push their clothes through the pain of war. It also then follows the era of post-war fashion, where Glenn takes on the role of Carmel Snow, the editor-in-chief of Harper’s Bazaar.
