‘I stripped off on Celebrity Big Brother – but would never show my gentlemen sausage’

A Celebrity Big Brother star and noughties music legend has recalled his time on the show.

Basshunter, 39, starred on the show back in 2010 and had an eventful ride. After watching an unearthed clip of his time on the show, where he seemed to be nude a lot, Daily Star quizzed him about his experience.

He said: “Oh wow, yeah that probably did happen. Maybe it was because I had a lot of showers? I didn’t show my ding dong or my gentleman sausage, so it’s OK.”

Looking back at his time on the show, he added: “With all of these things, they are fantastic memories. And also you have to understand that being Swedish and having that level of success in the UK is very, very difficult.

“If you’re not British or American or a native English-speaking person, it’s so difficult to even remotely penetrate the UK market. So, I am immensely grateful for all my memories.”

The music star also revealed he was “in talks” to join Celebs Go Dating – but they couldn’t make the timings work around his busy touring schedule. He said: “I would love to do Celebs Go Dating, we were in talks.

“I mean, we didn’t agree on anything. It was just an idea that we threw out there. But it didn’t work with anyone’s time frame. But that would be cool.

“Next year maybe, we’ll see… I’ll need to get fresh and maybe get rid of the beer belly as well. I’m turning 40 in December, so will be hitting the big four-oh.

“I feel good, I feel really good. I’ve kind of been waiting for the middle-life crisis but it hasn’t really come up. And my friends were like, ah, when you do your beard and your hair, you still look like you’re 35.”
