Joe Swash has issued a stark warning to Vernon Kay about his wife Stacey Solomon after Kay made a cheeky dig at her.
Both Swash and Kay appeared on Loose Women on Friday (May 17), in a special men-only edition of the show. The pair were joined by professional ballroom dancer Anton du Beke and Diversity star Jordan Banjo, as they ran through the main stories making headlines.
But as the ITV show got underway, former Family Fortunes host Kay, 50, took on the role of lead anchor during the episode. This meant that Vernon was able to get the show on the road, though he almost derailed it all immediately after going on air.

At the beginning of the show, the BBC Radio 2 host incessantly warned Joe’s wife Stacey that she should be switching the channel over. This was to make sure that she did not hear all the secrets he was going to share.
In the first part of the show, Joe spilled the beans on what it was like to be in the All-Stars version of I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! last year. Having won the series in 2008, he recalled how the All-Stars edition of the show was tougher than the first time, as he recalled the terrifying Bushtucker trials he had to endure.
He also explained that during the eating and drinking challenges, it was having the blended drinks that proved the most gut-wrenching for the former EastEnders actor had done. However, he joked that having done the trial alongside fellow actor Dean Gaffney, he “would have paid money” to see the roles reversed, as Gaffney was laughing so much.
Joe went on to explain: “I have had some bad stuff in my mouth,” prompting the audience to erupt into laughter as the panel looked on in shock. Clearly unfazed by the joke, Vernon tried to calm things down: “Very funny.”
As the audience continued to giggle and snigger, Joe pleaded: “Stop it! What’s going here?” He appeared to play dumb during the course of the laughter, as he seemingly had no idea at the double-entendre.
It was then that Vernon turned away from his fellow panellist and looked directly into the camera. Directing his attention to the Sort Your Life Out star, Vernon begged: “Stacey, turn over.”
However, a disgruntled Joe was quick to shoot back at Vernon at telling Stacey what to do. “Don’t talk to my wife like that,” Swash said as he hit out at Vernon.
Clearly taken aback at Joe’s look, Vernon gave no response back to his co-star. Instead, he quickly gathered his thoughts before continuing on with the rest of the show.
