Katie Hopkins has sickened fans after mocking festivalgoers at London’s Notting Hill Carnival.
The professional loudmouth, 49, has slowly made appearances on social media once again after being banned from the likes of Twitter for hate speech in the past. In recent times, she was slammed by fans for taking on Kate Garraway, days after the Good Morning Britain presenter lost her husband Derek Draper.
On Thursday (August 29), Katie posted a video to her newly reinstated Twitter profile that mocked those who went to the Notting Hill Carnival. It came following the stabbing of Cher Maximen, who tried to break up a fight; she succumbed to her injuries on Saturday (August 31st).

In the video, former Apprentice contestant Katie donned a pink wig and a red bra, fashioned with flowers, meant to represent a festivalgoers. Sneering at those who attended the festival, she smirked her way through her sarcastic remarks as she beamed: “Just back from Notting Hill Carnival.
“Nearly lost my voice from so much shouting and it’s been a brilliant few days,” the troll sniggered. “Honestly, you’ve never seen the capital like it – we got to p**s where we wanted, we got to dance on top of bus stops, we got to rub our vaginas up on strangers and policemen and they did nothing about it.”
She went on to thrust oddly as she continued her rambling monologue: “And then there was just like 340 mostly peaceful arrests, and also 8 mostly peaceful stabbings. Four people are still in intensive care – one’s in a coma, she was a mum with her kid who tried to stop a fight – but you know, let us party on because it is a glorious representation of London at its best, because diversity is absolutely our strength.”
Fans were bemused by the Celebrity Big Brother runner-up’s video and quickly flooded the comments with messages of concern. One user said: “LMAO THIS WOMAN HAS LOST IT”, to which Katie herself replied: “Love, I never wanted to keep it, whatever ‘it’ was.”
Other commenters sneered at her for her previous misgivings and legal drama, whilst others blasted her for taking aim at festivalgoers themselves. “She hates people coming together and having a nice time,” wrote one user, “surprised she’s not calling everyone a terrorist.”
One fan, however, was particularly hurt by the satire, penning: “That’s so sad about the mum who was stabbed while trying to stop a fight. I can’t watch some of this stuff when it’s on my newsfeed, it’s so disturbing.”
Investigations are still underway into Cher’s death after she was stabbed during the celebrations last month. A second man also died after sustaining a serious head injury outside a shop.
