TV’s Linda Robson was mugged by a hoodie-wearing thug – who stole her dog’s poo.
The Birds Of A Feather star had picked up her puppy’s mess in a posh Selfridges bag. But an attacker on a bike punched her in the face and made off with it – not realising their dirty haul.
Linda, 65, reveals in her new book Truth Be Told how she had cleared up after new puppy George in the night and headed to put it in a skip. She said: “Just as I stepped out into the street, someone wearing a hoodie and riding a mountain bike sped up to me, punched me in the face and stole the Selfridges bag out of my hand. They left me with a big black eye and I was really shaken up.

“I was due to film something the next day but had to cancel that because my face was such a mess. The one silver lining was the thought of this thug feeling all pleased with themselves for grabbing this Selfridges bag. They’d be imagining what expensive treats might be inside and then reaching in to get a handful of s***. If you’re reading this now, it serves you right!”
It comes after Loose Women favourite Linda confirmed why she and her husband Mark Dunford decided to end their 34-year marriage. Speaking to OK!, the actress revealed that there was no drama, they had simply grown apart over time. “People do, sometimes, don’t they?” she said.
“We never had that much in common, you know. I’m very sociable Mark never enjoyed that side of things.” The telly star, who shares two adult children with Mark, confessed it was their kids that kept them together for so long. She praised Mark as an “amazing dad” and admitted feeling sad about the split.
“I’ve been sad about it, of course I have. But we had two lovely children together. But they’re all grown up, living their own lives now.” she shared. Now, it’s just Linda and her dog Dolly. She added that she was in a good place, busy with work and finding writing her memoir therapeutic, especially when discussing her mental health struggles.
Linda revealed her plans to sell her Islington home, which she shares with Mark, and move closer to Lauren. She said: “I’m getting a smaller house, near Lauren, a two-bedroom, so I can have her girls come and stay with me. But I’ll still be in Islington unless my kids move, in which case I’ll bloody follow them!” Regarding her relationship with Mark, Linda candidly mentioned: “We’re civil to each other most of the time!”
