Lorraine Kelly’s co-star reacts as she braves sea in plunging swimsuit

Lorraine Kelly’s telly sidekick Dr Hilary Jones couldn’t stop gushing after the Scottish presenter braved the chilly waters in a stunning swimsuit.

The 64-year-old legend took a break from her presenting duties for a bit of R&R in the serene Orkney, Archipelago in Scotland. Eager to chill out, Lorraine didn’t shy away from taking a plunge into the sea for an invigorating swim.

Captured on film donning a chic and daring swimsuit, Lorraine bolted towards the waves for what she described as a “refreshing” dip. The footage made its way onto her morning show, where Dr Hilary Jones was all praise.

Discussing her seaside adventure with the doc, Lorraine said: “See we had to run a long, long way but we actually did go in.” She admitted the swim was “bracing” yet “absolutely fantastic”, reports the Mirror.

Dr Hilary piped up, saying: “It’s meant to be very good for you, it’s good for the circulation, good for the heart and good for the mood.”

Lorraine continued: “We just took it easy and we went on a gorgeous walk. We saw Puffins as-well which was lovely and wee piggies.”

Reflecting on her getaway, she added: “We had just the best time.”

“You look very well on it,” Dr Hilary remarked, praising her for taking on the icy challenge. “I feel very well on it, actually, it’s just like a recharge of your batteries” Lorraine replied, clearly rejuvenated by her Scottish sojourn.

In another segment of the show, Dr Hilary issued a stern warning about the dangers of purchasing weight loss drugs online. He urged viewers to consider the potential unproven side effects.

Lorraine queried her co-host: “What are the side effects, do we know? ” Dr Hilary cautioned: “Short term nausea and diarrhoea. Plus headaches and fatigue”.

“Then long-term, there’s also links to pancreatitis and thyroid issues and thyroid cancer. People have also woke up with sudden blindness through the sciatic nerve.”
