Love Island fans have all reached the same conclusion that executives must have stepped in to stem feuds.
On Sunday’s episode (February 4), the South African villa was ablaze after certain islanders were exposed during an explosive PDA Awards ceremony. And awkward tension sliced through the lavish pad like a bad smell.
On the dynamite programme, Georgia Steel was exposed as one of the sneakiest stars of the show so far. She’d coupled up with Callum Jones making her intentions clear that she was into him but behind the scenes had also been making moves with Tom Clare – who Callum’s ex Molly Smith is coupled with.

It wasn’t just Tom who she’d been flirting with as a number of cosy chats with semi-professional footballer Toby Aromolaran also surfaced during the VT’s. Other couples such as Josh Ritchie and Sophie Piper also faced issues over a communication mishap.
Josh had seemingly been keeping his options open after having a number of steamy chats with Joanna Chimonides which was news for Sophie who thought he’d closed things off with her. Many questions were raised in the explosive episode about certain people’s loyalties and tensions ran high as everyone started throwing shade at each other.
Molly and Georgia even had a war of words when the ‘I’m Loyal Babe” claimed Callum didn’t have history as she’d had with Toby. To which Molly piped up and said: “I can’t believe you’re saying we didn’t have history like you and Toby when we were in a three-year relationship together.”
The episode certainly provided fans at home with the drama factor, with excited fans hopeful for further horns to clash on Monday’s episode. However, viewers online were left totally “disappointed” after everyone feuding seemed to miraculously kiss and make up.
Fans took to their platforms in their masses to call out the “boring” episode as they claimed producers must have stepped in to force islanders to sort out their differences. Various lines in the sand were drawn, leaving viewers feeling “let down” after such a build-up yesterday.
Taking to the platform X, one commenter wrote: “The producers have defo told them to squash the beef because wtf is this???! I would’ve been throwing HANDS #LoveIsland,” as another agreed: “Why is everyone making friends? BORING! Get a grip!”

A third person penned: “Well this episode is a huge letdown after last night!! #LoveIsland.” As a fourth person chimed in with: “Nah, producers told them to kiss and make up and I’m not here for it.”
Meanwhile, things seemed to be getting spicer as three new hopefuls entered – stunning twins Eve and Jess Gale and sandwich man Joe Garrett. The teaser clip at the end promised fans that more drama was in store for Tuesday’s episode.
During a game, Joe was challenged to “snog the two girls he fancied most” with Molly being one of the women he’d locked lips with. After they shared a moment of passion, Georgia Steel dropped a huge bombshell, basically telling the entire villa it wasn’t the first kiss they’d ever shared.
Fans will have to tune in on ITV2 tomorrow at 9pm to find out what happens.
