Love Island star Shaughna Phillips has spoken out after taking her 11-month old daughter Lucia to hospital.
Tired Shaughna, who found fame on the ITV show in 2020, told her 1.4 million Instagram followers it had been a “long day” as she provided an update on her story. It followed her previous post 24 hours earlier, in which she revealed the tot had been “sick everywhere” and was suffering from a high temperature.
“Absolute nothing worse than seeing her like that!” Shaughna wrote at the time. “Didn’t end up going to sleep until 1am, so today is a movie day followed by loads of cuddles and naps.”

That movie day never happened, however, as the pair dashed to hospital to get Lucia checked out. Sharing a sweet clip of her kissing her baby, Shaughna penned: “Been a long day up A&E. Grateful to be home with my darling. Lots of love from mama.”
She then added a snap of Lucia sleeping in her car seat, which she captioned: “Been waiting to get out of the car for 30 mins but don’t want to disrupt her, was a long night so just glad she’s getting some rest.”
A further shot followed on Tuesday afternoon, showing Lucia drinking from her bottle in her pram. “Just want her better,” added her doting mum.
Shaughna was coupled up with Callum Show during her stint in the villa, but departed after he dumped her for Molly Smith. She later hooked up with Lucia’s dad, Billy Webb, but he was later jailed for drug offences following a police raid on their home.
The 29-year sparked concerns for her well-being recently, meanwhile, after admitting she was feeling “unhappy”. Shaughna said at the time: “I feel like you can see it on my face, I am just not happy. And I feel like there are probably a plethora of reasons and I feel so guilty because I have such an angel a baby that should make me happy every day but at the minute I am just not.”
On Mothers’ Day, however, she appeared in much better spirits, penning: It’s my first Mother’s Day today, and I feel like the luckiest mama in the world, I get to spend every day with my Lucia, and even though I’m sure I’ve had hard days this past year, when I think back I don’t remember a single one, she is just the brightness in every room.”
