Love Island’s Samantha Kenny has been given the boot from ‘Love Island’ after Grace Jackson decided to get back with her former flame, Joey Essex.
The 26-year-old makeup artist was the latest contestant to wave goodbye to the villa. Post-dumping, Samantha dished: “I was true to myself and didn’t feel like it was a waste of my time because I followed what I felt was right for me.”
Yet, she’s not without her share of regrets about her fling with Joey. She spilled the tea, saying: “When it comes to Joey, I think if I knew what I know now, I perhaps would have done things differently.”

“Ronnie’s more my type than Joey was – but I feel like Ronnie didn’t pursue anything with me because he didn’t want to go up against Joey.”
Before her stint in the villa, Samantha confessed she’s not shy about her feelings or opinions, saying she wears her “heart on her sleeve” and is “very opinionated”. She saw the show as a fab chance to find love outside her Liverpool bubble.
On her dream guy, Samantha revealed: “I love a cockney boy so I’m hoping there is one in there for me.” Despite her Scouse roots, Samantha’s got a thing for southern lads, admitting: “If I want a night out, I go down to London as I love the boys down south. Tall, dark and cockney is my type.”
Before going into the ITV villa, Samantha also exclusively told us about her pre-show prep. She said: “I go to the gym a lot anyway so I was ready body-wise, but literally the only thing I’ve had done and I’m an honest person, is my Botox.
“I mean I get that done anyway, I get it at Christmas and then I get it at the beginning of summer. I had a facial, switched up the skincare that’s it really. I had my lips done before, but other than that I haven’t really done much.”
She added: “I’ve aged like fine wine and I’m not just blowing my own trumpet. I have a friend actually, he’s a boy, and he said to me the other day ‘You’ve won most improved two years on the bounce’. I was like, ‘What are you trying to say?’ Cheeky! But it’s a compliment.”
