Martine McCutcheon transforms into 90s pop star for new music video with Lidl

Martine McCutcheon has just dropped a cheeky tune for all the savvy shoppers out there, teaming up with Lidl to remix the 90s hit ‘Ooh Aah Just a Little Bit’ into a total anthem rebranded as ‘Ooh Aah Just a Lidl Bit’.

The former Eastenders star is bringing back the magic of Gina G’s 1996 chart-topper, serving it up fresh with a tasty side of Lidl’s famous charm.

In the glitzy new music video, Martine belts out the tune while throwing shapes amongst the incredible offers in Lidl’s famed middle-aisle, and even plugs the brand’s clever cash-saving Lidl Plus app.

Tossing in a pinch of glamour, the video also sees appearances from Diane Carson, known for her stint on The Traitors, and the viral internet sensation Charity Shop Sue.

From being Tiffany Mitchell in Albert Square to stealing scenes in Love Actually, Martine’s been a stunner in the entertainment biz.

Martine can’t contain her joy about their collab: “From getting my hands on all the fizzy rose I could ask for, to living out my middle aisle fantasies in the music video, it’s been incredible to be part of the action.”

This catchy song is set to give those #LiveLaughLidl gatherings an explosive boost, with the extra glittering appearance of EastEnders icon Cheryl Fergison, better known as Heather Trott.

And if you’re in London and fancy a bash, get hyped for the chance to groove alongside the legendary Charity Shop Sue at an upcoming brunch extravaganza.

Brunch-goers, brace yourselves for a right old knees-up!

Lidl’s gone and done it, teaming up with the viral sensation Hunsnet for some absolutely bonkers ‘hun’ culture-themed brunches, all thanks to the genius of Gareth Howells. Brace yourselves for a day chock-full of off-the-wall ‘hun’ performances, interactive shenanigans, delish grub, and an endless flow of prosecco to sip on.

Even though tickets flew off the shelves, Lidl’s throwing a lifeline by releasing a stash of extra tickets for their London and Manchester bashes, dropping from Thursday 10th October so set those alarms for a 10am scramble!

Martine was buzzing with excitement, spilling the beans: “I’m so excited to be joining Gareth on stage as part of the Live, Laugh, Lidl Brunches, and I cannot wait for guests to witness the first-ever performance of the song.”
