Hollywood actress Megan Fox has reportedly split from her famous fiance Machine Gun Kelly, just weeks after she announced that she is pregnant with her fourth child
Megan Fox has reportedly ended her relationship with rapper Machine Gun Kelly. The 38-year-old actress, who announced her pregnancy last month on November 11, nearly three years after getting engaged to the rapper, has allegedly called off their engagement after discovering ‘upsetting material’ on his phone.
Megan, already a mother to three boys from her previous marriage to Brian Austin Green, was reportedly holidaying with Kelly, real name Colson Baker, in Colorado for Thanksgiving when she found the ‘material’ on his phone. According to TMZ, the rapper left their plush Vail hotel and they haven’t seen each other since.
Megan and MGK have been in the spotlight since they started dating in 2020. Last month, Megan shared news of her pregnancy on Instagram, posting a picture of herself holding her baby bump and another showing a positive pregnancy test. She captioned the post: “Nothing is ever really lost. Welcome back.”

She tagged MGK, who also has a child from a previous relationship, in the post, reports the Mirror. The on-again, off-again couple reportedly first met properly in 2020 while working on the film Midnight in the Switchgrass (2021), as per GQ magazine, after a brief encounter at a party years earlier. Megan revealed they “didn’t hook up right away” after reconnecting on set.

The duo later confirmed their romance that same year when the actor starred in MGK’s music video for Bloody Valentine. Recalling their “first date”, MGK described it as “epic”, picking her up in a Cadillac and taking her to a hilltop picnic where he had “thousands” of roses waiting.
It was hinted they had previous dates but not “out of the house”. Less than two years later, their engagement was announced. MGK popped the question to the Transformers star while on holiday in Puerto Rico in January 2022, proposing “beneath the same branches [they had] fell in love under”. Singer-songwriter MGK revealed he designed the engagement ring himself with help from jeweller Stephen Webster, featuring the couple’s birthstones; a diamond and an emerald.
Megan shared: “In July of 2020 we sat under this banyan tree. We asked for magic. We were oblivious to the pain we would face together in such a short, frenetic period of time.” She added that they had been “intoxicated off of the love” and “laughed more than [she] ever imagined possible”.
The couple are believed to have weathered several storms in their relationship, with rumours of a split circulating on multiple occasions over the years. It’s even suggested that they called off their engagement.
Megan raised eyebrows about their relationship status in February last year when she wiped MGK photos from her Instagram and seemed to deactivate her account. A source told People at the time that Megan was “very upset” and wouldn’t speak to MGK after they “had a fight”.
She had earlier posted a lyric about “dishonesty”, sparking fears that MGK may have been unfaithful. However, this was quickly refuted, with Megan telling fans upon her return to social media: “There has been no third party interference in this relationship of any kind.”
The following month, it was reported that Megan and MGK were “on a break,” though a source told Us Weekly that they were still in touch despite being “off”. The source said: “They have stalled wedding planning to work on their issues.”
Just a few months later in May last year, the pair were reportedly “slowly working on reconciling”. A source also told People: “He’s doing whatever he can to get her back.” It was also claimed at the time that Megan was “making him work for it” and that MGK had “a lot of proving himself to do”.
MGK had been seen backing Megan at her Sports Illustrated issue launch event in New York just days before. It was rumoured around that time that he was attempting to “get her back” and a source informed TMZ that they were “super affectionate” that evening.
The outlet reported that MGK was caught kissing Megan. It was later suggested that the pair were “back together”. A source told People in an article published at the end of May last year: “They are back together. They have explored therapy. Things are still not back to normal though.”
