Molly-Mae Hague once lifted the lid on her fiery relationship with Tommy Fury as she announced that she and the boxer are calling it quits.
The pair, who got engaged, became parents to little Bambi and secured the keys to their dream pad, seemed rock solid until Molly-Mae’s shock statement sent waves across social media.
Molly-Mae actually shed light on their less-than-starry relationship dynamics with podcast king Steven Bartlett on ‘The Diary Of A CEO’ back in December 2021. She gave fans a peek into their relationship, spilling: “In a vlog, I might be saying, ‘Oh, I’ve just bought this brand new watch; it’s amazing. It’s cost X amount, and I’m having a really great day’.”
But the truth was far grittier as she admitted: “But then I also might say, ‘Oh, you know. Me and Tommy have just had a huge argument and I’ve walked out the house’.”
The influencer confessed that clashes were not off the cards, but they always found their way back to each other, insisting “it works”.
She added: “I’m not going to sit here and say we don’t argue like cat and dogs. We definitely do. He drives me crazy and I feel like I’m his manager sometimes,” reports the Mirror.
Addressing their heart-wrenching split, Molly-Mae didn’t spell out the reasons for it but expressed her everlasting thanks for their baby girl. She said she is “forever grateful” for the life they shared.
She dropped the sad news on Instagram this evening (Wednesday, August 14): “I’m extremely upset to announce that mine and Tommy’s relationship has come to an end.”
The split hit the headlines just hours after the social media sensation shared snaps of a lodge getaway on Instagram Stories, but those posts have seemingly vanished.
Before the split, she’d spilled the details on her vlog about the ups and downs of motherhood, admitting finding the right balance was a tough gig. Tommy got a special mention too.
Glowing about the boxer turned businessman, who’s been diving into an audiobook project lately, Molly-Mae was all praise, calling him “incredible and so helpful” for pitching in “home from doing work and stuff”.
