Netflix fans are unimpressed with Jennifer Lopez’s new flick.
The trailer for her new project Atlas has received poor reception from some viewers who flocked to social media to share their thoughts. Over on X/Twitter under a clip from the preview, one person wrote: “Absolute garbage, that’s as much as I’ll watch of this, the acting is hollow. Hard to watch even this amount of it.”
Another person simply branded it “awful” while one said: “Why as a society [do] we keep doing this. Not sure I was looking for JLo action movie.” More comments flooded in, with one scathing remark stating: “What is this, 1999?”

However, someone praised Lopez’s hard work and quipped: “She been working like the rent due lately, I respect it.” Jennifer’s brand new science-fiction thriller follows data analyst Atlas Shepherd who is wary about artificial intelligence.
She joins a mission to capture a robot but is forced to worked with AI. The Jenny From The Block singer spoke out about the film and said: “I loved that this is a big sci-fi action movie, but at its core it’s a story of friendship and a love story, in a way. I always see everything as a love story, but this is a different kind of love between two beings who connect in disastrous circumstances and teach each other how to be more human.”
Elsewhere in Netflix news, one freaky film has left streamers with “so many questions” after watching and discovering a “hidden message”. Leave The World Behind is an apocalyptic psychological thriller film which stars Julia Roberts, Mahershala Ali, Ethan Hawke and Kevin Bacon as a group of people navigating an apocalyptic event.
The film follows Amanda who plans a vacation with her family as the world suffers a cyber attack. The “catastrophic environmental effects” begin to play out and creepy scenes show teeth falling out, dead-eyed deer that haunt the family and a piercing alarm.
Fans over in the Netflix Bangers Facebook group said that the film was “kind of freaky but a good watch” and that they “enjoyed” the thriller as one person urged: “Love it. Read the hidden message in it.”
