Netflix users can’t stop talking about one “traumatic” series.
Someone in the Netflix Bangers group on Facebook asked for “thoughts on this series” and fellow members did not disappoint as they flocked to provide their opinions. One person wrote: “Amazing 10/10. The almost rape scene was traumatising tho, gave me PTSD but it was a great show,” while others said “very good,” “great” and “loved it”.

“I will give it an 8. It’s very emotional and sensitive. It is about *SA* in schools by teachers and how to stand up for yourself and others. The story line is great for teenagers and high schoolers,” typed another fan of the show, while someone else said: “Excellent, love the end.”
“The best I have watched in years! One of my favourites! But [Spanish] people are known for their good cinema and television and talented actors,” gushed another streamer. Someone else said that the show was so good they’d “completed it in two nights” and they “recommend” others watch too.
One comment read: “It was quite good. I enjoyed it,” as a second said: “It’s good – worth a watch,” and a third: “I really enjoyed it but I like high school genre stuff.” One person even branded the show as “superb”.
The Netflix description of Raising Voices reads: “When a 17-year-old reports a sexual assault at her high school, an investigation upends her life and tests her relationships.” The show stars Nicole Wallace, Gabriel Guevara, Clara Gelle, Ivan Massague, José Pastor and Aicha Villaverde.
Netflix released the series back in May 2024 and the Spanish teen drama miniseries follows Alma and her friends Greta and Nata as they navigate high school. One day, Alma hangs up a banner that reads: “Watch out, there is a rapist hiding in there.”
The show is based on a novel of the same name by Miguel Saez Carral. Raising Voices – in Spanish named Ni Una Más – runs for eight episodes and is currently available to watch on the streaming service Netflix.
