Nicole Scherzinger is dripping in gold as she sizzles in sheer crystal gown

Nicole Scherzinger had every eye in the building turning to her as she donned a sheer gown dripping in crystals.

The Pussycat Dolls frontwoman headed to the 77th annual Tony Awards this weekend at the David H. Koch Theatre in New York, where Broadway and beyond is recognised for plays, musicals and other stagecraft. Wrapped in a nearly see-through dress studded with gold and diamonds, Nicole took to the stage to perform a gorgeous rendition of What I Did For Love, from the musical A Chorus Line.

Brooke Shields was on hand to introduce the Don’t Cha songstress as Nicole got set to perform for the In Memoriam segment, honouring those who have died over the past year in the theatre community. Brooke’s poignant speech started: “As the newly elected president of Actors Equity Association, I am so proud to be here to celebrate the entire theatrical community.

“But this is a moment that’s bittersweet, as we also honour the memories of those no longer with us. For every well-known artist, there are countless others whose contributions both onstage and behind the scenes forever changed Broadway.”

Nicole blew fans away not only with her vocals, but with her glam look for the evening, which saw her don an ankle-length gown with jewels climbing over her bust and silver gems falling in a fringe over both arms and legs.

She swept her brunette tresses up into an elegant up-do and donned chandelier earrings to match her bejewelled dress, painting pink blush high on her cheekbones and swiping on a matching pastel pout. But when she took to the stage, Nicole’s performance was the only thing on anyone’s mind – despite her incredible ensemble.

The night proved an eventful one, with major stars including Harry Potter icon Daniel Radcliffe taking away his first ever Tony Award for his role in Merrily We Roll Along. Daniel scored the gong for Best Performance by an Actor in a Featured Role in a Musical, while his co-star Jonathan Groff picked up the award for Leading Role in a Musical.

American Horror Story star Sarah Paulson also scooped a Tony, taking the award for Best Actress in a Leading Role in a Play for her role in Appropriate. Her AHS co-star Jessica Lange lost out in the same category for her role in Mother Play.
