Oasis’ big mistake could cost Noel and Liam Gallagher a lot of money.
In an exclusive chat with Daily Star, celebrity PR specialist Kayley Cornelius addressed one major decision that could cause the Gallagher siblings issues on their upcoming 2025 UK tour.
Speaking on behalf of Betfred, Kayley explained: “The decision to not televise the string of shows could have both positive and negative impacts on their overall earnings. While cutting out a TV crew reduces costs, they might miss out on significant playback revenue in the long run.”

READ MORE: Oasis reunion tour ticket prices confirmed as extra dates added after fan mania
In the brother’s recent announcement regarding Oasis’ reunion, the Gallaghers stated: “The guns have fallen silent. The stars have aligned. The great wait is over. Come see. It will not be televised.”
Oasis’ decision not to televise their groundbreaking UK tour, which will see the brothers perform together for the first time since the band broke up back in 2009, means that Oasis fans up and down the country will miss out if they can’t snag a ticket when they go on sale on Saturday 31 August.
Due to popular demand, the brothers have been forced to add more dates to their highly anticipated reunion tour. They originally announced a 14-date, five day tour around the country, which has now been extended.
Oasis will play an extra date in Manchester’s Heaton Park, London’s Wembley Stadium and Edinburgh’s Murrayfield Stadium. The current total number of UK dates is 17, although there is high speculation that international dates will also be announced.
Despite the Gallaghers’ move to keep the tour off our screens, Kayley believes that the brothers are “likely looking at taking home hundreds of millions each” thanks to the tour.
“While reports suggest that they are each set to take home an alleged £50 million, the reality is that this sum is likely to be much higher. Beyond standalone ticket sales, there are several other revenue streams that will significantly boost their earnings.”
These include “settlement fees, merchandising and marketing, special album releases, limited edition merchandise, brand collaborations and profits from Liam’s clothing brand Pretty Green”.
