Oasis have issued a statement to concerned fans who fear they won’t get pre-sale access.
The rock band confirmed they will be going on tour next year, with 14 dates across the UK and Ireland already announced. On Thursday (August 29), the beloved Britpop group announced that there is a pre-sale coming up for their UK and Ireland tour.
Fans were asked to sign up to be in with a chance of gaining early access. But customers were left in a frenzy after failing to receive their confirmation emails.

Taking to X – formerly known as Twitter – the group addressed the delayed responses online. They wrote: “Due to a last-minute surge in pre-sale ballot entries, a number of confirmation emails are still being processed and sent out.
“The deadline to confirm your entry has now been extended to 10am BST tomorrow morning (Friday 30th August). If successful in the ballot, you will be contacted tomorrow by 5pm BST with pre-sale access information. Thank you for your patience.”
However, their statement only caused more confusion amongst fans online. Users pointed out that the pre-sale will activate hours after the general sale opens on Saturday morning (August 31).
One fan quizzed: “I’m so confused? How are you going to send emails by 5pm tomorrow when the presale starts at 9am tomorrow??” Another asked: “If we don’t have confirmation about presale until 5pm tomorrow and general sale is 9am on Saturday, when on earth is presale then?!”
It comes after the ticket prices for their upcoming gigs have been unveiled after adding three more dates to their 2025 reunion tour. Noel Gallagher announced on X, formerly Twitter, that “due to unprecedented demand”, another show has been scheduled for the Manchester Park venue on July 16.
Two more gigs have also been confirmed at Wembley on July 30 and Murrayfield Stadium on August 12. The tour will be the band’s first live appearance since Noel broke them up following their 2009 V Festival gig.
The reunion was announced on Tuesday (August 27) after years of fans begging them to get back together. The Gallagher brothers said: “The guns have fallen silent. The stars have aligned. The great wait is over. Come see. It will not be televised.”
Unfortunately, one stage they won’t be appearing on next year is Glastonbury. Fans began speculating that Oasis could headline the 2025 festival.
They said on Wednesday (August 28): “Despite media speculation, Oasis will not be playing Glastonbury 2025 or any other festivals next year. The only way to see the band perform will be on their Oasis Live ’25 World Tour.”
