Our Yorkshire Farm Raven Owen had to quickly shut down her mates’ cheeky banter about her mum Amanda Owen starting an OnlyFans account during a lively night out.
The Channel 5 sensation and uni grad, who keeps her fans in the loop on social media and is set to appear on the new More 4 series Our Farm Next Door: Amanda, Clive and Kids, found herself in a bit of a pickle while live-streaming on Instagram.
In a summer broadcast, Raven, 23, was giving her Insta followers a sneak peek into her off-screen antics when one of her pals dropped a bombshell, causing quite the stir among viewers.
With the glow of red bar lights illuminating the scene, Raven’s live feed took a turn for the awkward as her friend blurted out, “Amanda wants to start an OnlyFans.” Caught off guard, Raven had to think on her feet, exclaiming to her audience, “No! ! That’s a lie, that’s not true.”, reports the Express.
Not stopping there, the same mate quipped, “Raven wants to do it”, to which she could only muster a firm “…No,” before swiftly moving past the embarrassing moment.
OnlyFans, a platform where creators sell images or videos to subscribers who pay a monthly fee, is known for its adult content. Big names like Iggy Azalea and boxer Ebanie Bridges have profited from selling everything from lingerie photos to more explicit material.
Raven is the eldest child of Amanda Owen and Clive Owen, who gained popularity through their Channel 5 show about life on their Ravenseat farm.
The series was axed by Channel 5 after Amanda and Clive’s split, but several members of the Owen family have since appeared on TV, most notably Reuben Owen, 20, who now stars in his own show, Reuben: Life In The Dales.
Raven hasn’t been seen on TV since, but as she’s matured, many fans have noticed her striking resemblance to her mother, Amanda.
Amanda, originally from Huddersfield, once dabbled in modelling in her younger years before trading it in for a life on the farm.
Now, a new show titled Our Farm Next Door: Amanda, Clive and Kids has been greenlit for two five-episode series. The programme will feature all nine of Amanda and Clive’s children, including Raven, Reuben and Miles, down to Clemmy, Annas and Sydney.
The focus of the show will be the family’s efforts to restore the dilapidated property Anty John’s, located on the Ravenseat farm where they first shot to fame, working together despite the separation of parents Amanda and Clive Owen.
