P Diddy’s lawyer has made a bombshell statement regarding the rapper’s plea deal.
Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs was arrested earlier this month for sex trafficking charges and his legal team have spoken out about the ongoing case. The music mogul’s attorney, Marc Agnifilo, said Combs maintains his innocence, stating that a plea deal is off the cards.
His lawyer claimed he is keen to clear his name after facing charges of sex offences, as well as transportation to engage in prostitution. During a teaser for TMZ’s new documentary, The Downfall of Diddy: The Indictment, Agnifilo said: “I don’t know that I could keep him off the stand. I think he’s very eager to tell his story.”

In reference to CCTV footage which showed the rapper physically assaulting his ex-girlfriend and singer Cassie Ventura in 2016, Agnifilo added: “I think he will tell every part of his story, including what you see on the video. He has his story, and he has a story that, I think, only he can tell in the way he can tell it in real-time.

“It’s a human story. It’s a story of love, it’s a story of hurt, it’s a story of heartbreak. When he describes that relationship, the word he uses more than any other word is heartbreak. He was heartbroken. She was heartbroken.”
Agnifilo also insisted during Combs’ first hearing that his client is “an innocent man with nothing to hide.” This comes as an unearthed clip of Diddy from 1999 has resurfaced due to the allegations. Combs could be heard boasting about his infamous parties. He said: “They won’t even give me a permit for the parties.

“And they don’t want me to throw the parties no more. But we ain’t going to stop. We gonna keep on having fun. Bringing people together from all walks of life. You’re going to hear about my parties. They gonna be shutting them down. They gonna probably be arresting me – doing all types of crazy things just because we want to have a good time.”

Authorities have reportedly seized over 1000 bottles of baby oil and lubricant from Combs’ LA home. Agnifilo explained to The New York Post: “I don’t think it was 1,000. I think it was a lot. I mean, there is a Costco right down the street. I think Americans buy in bulk, as we know. And you know these are consensual adults doing what consensual adults do, you know, we can’t get so puritanical in this country to think that somehow sex is a bad thing because if it was there would be no more people.”
The musician’s next court hearing is set for October 9 at 2pm.
