Peter Andre shares adorable clip of parents after mum’s heartbreaking health update

Peter Andre has celebrated a very important occasion with his parents after opening up about his mum’s “declining” health.

The Aussie singer, 51, previously said he was “finding it hard to deal with” his mother’s deteriorating condition after she was diagnosed with Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s. However, Andre has since shared some more exciting news after the pair celebrated their 69th wedding anniversary.

Posting a video of his dad Savvas carrying a bouquet of flowers to his mum, Thea, Peter captioned the video: “You inspire me so much mum and dad. Love you so very much. My 91-year-old dad giving flowers to my beautiful mum. Happy 69th wedding anniversary.”

The Mysterious Girl hitmaker then posted a photo of his father giving his mum a hug. The pair looked delighted to have spent nearly seven decades together, grinning from ear to ear.

Thea and Savvas, 89 and 91, live in Australia and Thea is now in a care home. Andre previously spoke out about coming to terms with his parents’ advancing age, especially as he lives on the other side of the world with his own family.

He wrote in his New! column: “I can’t believe I’m nearly 51. I was worried as I approached 50, but I’m over that and I feel great.

“I’m loving life and age is just a number. You can live life to the fullest at any age. Although I thank God my parents are still here, I am seeing the rapid decline, especially in Mum. I find that part hard to deal with.”

He then added: “Like most people, l’m so close to my parents that it is really difficult to come to terms with.”
