Despite the much-loved reality show bagging an impressive 27 Primetime Emmy Awards since it first sashayed onto our screens in 2009, The Traitors, hosted by Alan Cumming, has now stolen the spotlight. The beloved reality show left RuPaul and other contenders like The Amazing Race, Top Chef, and The Voice trailing behind.
This year’s Emmys was hosted for the first time by father-son duo Eugene and Dan Levy, who co-created and starred in the hit series Schitt’s Creek. Awards presenters on the night, included Hollywood legend and Mary Poppins star Dick Van Dyke, 97, along with Allison Janney, Martin Sheen, Matt Bomer, Lily Gladstone and Kristen Wiig.
