Robert Pattinson’s most terrifying childhood trauma is a total fabrication.
The New York Times recently reported that during an interview with the Twilight actor, he confessed to watching a television interview of himself from back in 2011. In the clip, R-Patz told a made-up story about seeing a clown die in a car explosion when he was younger.
NYT wrote: “There was absolutely no hesitation at all [in my voice],” he says with a combination of pride and alarm. “I’m like, ‘What on earth? Are you possessed?” In truth, he was just bored.”
