Rocker Noel Gallagher wants Marijuana to be made legal in the UK to support NHS

Oasis frontman Noel Gallagher wants marijuana to be made legal in Britain – with Westminster kingpins

The Roll With It hitmaker believes the money businesses would make could help support the NHS. The 56-year-old singer claims the Government should legalise the Class B drug and start distributing it across the country.

Speaking about the controversial topic, he said: “They’d only have to do one thing – they just legalise it and say that all the profits are going to the NHS. You can’t argue with it then, can you?

“The Government could grow it and distribute it and license it because as we’re all aware, they’re f***ing forever banging on about the NHS. It’s like, ‘Well, do something about it’.

“But people who vote, they’d never vote for it,” he concluded. It comes after the rock legend finally said ‘yes’ to an official Oasis reunion – but fans should expect to see a huge twist if the nineties rockers were to reform.

Noel revealed he was utterly blown away by the quality of the Abba voyage show in London, which uses avatars of the band. Abba Voyage recreates the sight of Abba in their prime during the 1970s, playing smash hits including Waterloo and Mamma Mia.

During an interview with Matt Morgan on his podcast, the dad-of-two was quizzed about the use of an Oasis hologram show. After thinking it over, he agreed: “I was very impressed by it to be honest but yeah, if anybody wants to do an Oasis one, give us a shout.

“I would be bang up for it. I’d say ‘great’ speak to that guy over there and then come up with a figure and then he’ll relay it to me, and I’ll say either yes or no.” His surprising comment came just days after his brother Liam shut down any speculation that Oasis would reunite in the future.

The singer, who appeared on the Jonathan Ross Show back in March, was quick to put an end to reunion claims and insisted he has spoken to his brother Noel “for 10 years.” Quizzed by Jonathan about the rumours, Liam quickly replied: “I haven’t spoken to him for about 10 years, 2009 I think.”

Oasis, which produced hits such as Wonderwall and She’s Electric – sensationally split back in 2009 after a backstage bust-up between the warring brothers. Over the past 14 years, Liam and Noel have traded bitter insults back and forth in various social media posts and gruelling interviews.

Last year, Liam posted a major hint towards an Oasis reunion, reaching out to his eldest brother for a “cuddle” while declaring: “Oasis till I die.” He wrote: “Listen I love Rkid he’s going through a lot of shizzle at the moment and it’ll work itself out he knows where I am if he needs a cuddle n a hug Oasis till I die LG” which he signed off with a kiss.

The cryptic message later received more than 20,000 likes as fans got their hopes up for long-awaited tour dates. But their hopes were quickly dashed by another venom-tongued row with his brother.
