The Chase fans swoon over ‘stunning’ player – but Bradley Walsh shuts them down

The Chase fans were left gushing over a player on the ITV show – but Bradley Walsh appeared to shut them down in an awkward moment.

The hit ITV gameshow was back on TV screens on Monday (February 26) as telly legend Bradley Walsh welcomed four new quizzers. As fans tuned in, he introduced contestants Jacob, Sahdiyya, Frank, Claire before they battled it out to take home the all-important cash prize.

This week the quartet was up against Jenny, also known as The Vixen, who made sure to bring her A-game against the wise quizzers. But things took an awkward turn when it was time for GP Sahdiyya to play the game.

As soon as she appeared on screens, she got fans swooning over her looks. On X, formerly known as Twitter, one viewer penned: “She is stunning!” Someone else added: “player 2 is a looker,” followed by a wailing face emoji.

The player got fans talking

However, during her chat with Bradley, it seemed he was not too impressed over a comment she made. When asked what she likes to do to relax, Sahdiyya said: “I do kickboxing, two or three times a week to help kick away the stress.”

Looking shocked, Bradley replied: “Kick-boxing can’t be relaxing?!” To which she fired back: “It’s a good cardio, it’s quite addictive.

“I also like to watch movies,” she added. Intrigued, Bradley quizzed: “Old movies or new movies.” Sahdiyya replied: “A bit of both,” and Bradley then asked her what her favourite old movie was. But it seems he wasn’t happy with her answer.

She said: “Top gun.” Squirming, Brad proclaimed: “That’s not really old! When I mean old I mean something in black and white!”

Bradley seemed to shut down the player

During her cash-builder, Sahdiyya managed to bag a couple of thousands of pounds. And during her head-to-head she appeared more confident and ended up beating The Chaser and landing a spot in the final.

Sahdiyya joined Frank and Claire who also managed to make it through their rounds. The trio were playing for a hefty £12,000 but sadly The Vixen caught them with 21 seconds remaining.
