The Traitors star Wilfred ‘Wilf’ Webster has admitted that one of his fellow co-stars has blocked him on Instagram for his betrayal on the show.
Wilf made waves when he became the last Traitor standing in the first series of the BBC show at the end of 2022. Having thrown fellow co-star Kieran Tompsett under the bus, he made a last-minute grab to seize the prize pot for himself in tense scenes towards the end of the show.
However, Wilf’s plan was eventually foiled by Faithful co-stars Aaron Evans, Hannah Byczkowski and Meryl Williams – as they chose to banish Wilf from the game at the final hurdle. As a result, Hannah, Aaron and Meryl bagged themselves over £35,000 each and Wilf was sent packing.

Now, as the newest series of the show starts to reach its climax, Wilf reflected on his time on the programme. He also revealed that one of his fellow contestants still has not forgiven him for his treachery and still has him blocked on Instagram.
Speaking to the Mirror, Wilf revealed that he was still in regular contact with many of the other contestants of his series. He regularly runs a podcast together with Ivan Brett and Rayan Rachedi, where they dive into the psyche of the Faithfuls and the Traitors alike.
“I’ve been saying all year, ‘We’re all best friends!’ – it’s not true,” he explained. “Some of us are really close!
“There’s only one person I don’t speak to. I haven’t spoken to them since we left the show because they blocked me on Instagram for some weird reason.”
He continued: “But everyone else I speak to a lot; so Ivan and Ryan, Amos, Tom a lot, Hannah, Meryl. There’s quite a few of us who speak quite a bit, or, if we don’t speak, when we do speak, we speak for hours because we’re catching up.”
Wilf added that he also remains “really close” with Fay, who was banished from the castle in emotional scenes with just days to go until the final. But he insisted that he could not keep up the charade any longer and admitted that one of his co-stars remains unhappy with him.
Webster also gave his own opinions on Paul Gorton, who had become the star Traitor in the current series of the show, due to his panto villain-style character. Wilf paid tribute to Paul, who he described as “the most entertaining Traitor” the series has had so far.
“I don’t think he’s like that in real life,” he added. “You know, everyone keeps thinking ‘ah he’s a psycho’ – I don’t think he’s like that.
“I think what he’s done is almost method-acting. I feel like he’s creating this murderous character and he’s like, ‘I’m gonna play that to the end’.”
Things, however, came crashing down for Paul during Thursday’s episode (January 18) after fellow Traitor Harry called him out for his behaviour at the Roundtable, which led to most players voting to banish him from the castle. When he admitted he was a Traitor, the remaining contestants erupted in happiness as they rejoiced in kicking another Traitor from the game.
The Traitors airs every Wednesday to Friday at 9pm on BBC One and the BBC iPlayer.
