Tommy Fury admits ‘hardest thing in his life’ after splitting from Molly-Mae

Tommy Fury has admitted the “hardest thing in his life” following his split from Molly-Mae Hague.

The professional boxer, 25, has been keeping his head down following the official split last month, despite having been together for five years. The couple were set to tie the knot later this year, but Molly-Mae shocked fans when she confirmed she was cutting ties with the hunk.

Following their split, both Molly-Mae and Tommy are now co-parenting their baby daughter Bambi, with both parties keeping fans updated on what they are getting up to. This includes Tommy, who recently took to his social media to confess some of the hardships he has been through.

In a new vlog uploaded to his YouTube channel, Tommy revealed that he has thrown himself into his fitness and training in the wake of the split. Giving fans a taste of what he has been getting stuck into, he spoke about how much he is “training like an animal”.

Former Love Island star Tommy said that ahead of getting back into his boxing career, he is being pushed to the limit. “When I’m in training camp, obviously, it’s the hardest thing that I do in my life, and that I ever have done, mentally and physically,” he explained.

“You know the training’s so rigorous, you have to literally take naps during the day to get ready for the next session and recover,” he continued. “So the reason why I’m starting mornings off like I’m in camp and training so much is to get my body prepared for that because, like I said, the mental and physical side of it is … it’s torture.”

Tommy went on to say that his schedule for the ten-week stint mostly revolves around going to the gym, with very little time to relax or sleep before starting again. He described the plan as being “very tough” – especially after picking up an injury to his hand whilst training earlier this year.

According to the star, he has been out of training for a solid nine months, which has been “the longest he’s ever been out for”, but was ready to take on the challenge. It comes as he continues to deny allegations that he cheated on Molly-Mae during a lads’ holiday.

Soon after the pair split, accusations of cheating were made against Tommy whilst he was on vacation in North Macedonia. During the lavish getaway, it was claimed that Tommy had slept with a Danish woman, as well as other videos of the boxer partying with girls in Dubai.

Tommy has since shut down allegations that he was cheating on Molly-Mae during the course of the relationship. He added that he was personally feeling a lot of pain in the wake of the break-up, but thanked those who had reached out.

“These last few weeks have been heartbreaking,” he explained in a post on Instagram. “The false allegations about me have been horrendous, thank you to everybody who has stood by me through this.”
