Tommy Fury has confirmed he will opening up about his split from Molly-Mae Hague in his new autobiography.
The pro boxer, 25, previously announced plans to release his tell-all memoir, Lightning Can Strike Twice: My Life as a Fury, in October. Now, it seems as though the star will finally set the record straight in a new chapter covering his romance with the influencer.
The couple shocked the nation when they announced their split on social media in August after five years together. The sportsman later came under fire following cheating claims with a Danish woman he met on a lad’s holiday to Macedonia.

On Tuesday (September 17), the reality star took to his Instagram Stories told fans that he has made changes to his book. He explained that he will address the reasons for their split in his new book.
Tommy told his loyal fans that this last month has not been “easy”, before confirming his book will contain an “extra chapter’ to reflect on his ‘current’ life events. The boxer – who is the half-brother of heavy-weight boxer Tyson – explained: “Hey guys, hope you’re all doing okay.
“As you all know, the past month for me hasn’t been easy but I’ve been having a lot of questions regarding my book Lightning Can Strike Twice. I just want to come on here and confirm that the book is still coming out next month and it’s still available to preorder.
“I’ve also tried to keep it as current as I can for you guys. I’ve wrote an extra chapter, obviously discussing what’s been going on this past month. So yeah, just wanted to say that the book is still going ahead.”
It was previously reported in August that publishers were having meetings over his upcoming memoir following his sudden split. It was said at the time that there was a “major concern” over the yet to be published book, which was written before the fallout and is thought to feature loving chapters about his romance with the blonde beauty.
The Sun reports the book’s price has already been slashed on Amazon from £25 to £12.50. Bosses hope that a new chapter could be added to address their separation to save the venture from disaster.
A source told the outlet: “There’s major concern over the impact of the revelations. The price has been reduced already and this new storm is making it harder to sell – especially given all his gushing about his life with Molly-Mae and their daughter Bambi.
“Without a new chapter, the book is outdated. Meetings are ongoing about what can be done to turn it around.” According to the outlet, the book promised to offer a “candid insight” into the “UK’s most popular family.”
A representative for Tommy Fury told Daily Star: “Tommy is horrified by the false allegations of cheating being circulated by the media and he is consulting his lawyers.” It comes after sources claimed that his ex-fiancée won’t be mentioning the breakdown of their relationship in her tell-all book.
The Filter CEO could have cashed in on their shock break-up and sent her book Becoming Molly-Mae back to the top of the charts. But a legal source told The Sun that the blonde bombshell will be keeping the lurid details of their messy split to herself.
