Vicky Pattison has made a “tough” choice right before her wedding.
The ex-Geordie Shore star is about to tie the knot with businessman beau Ercan Ramadan – but she’s decided to get a pre-nuptial agreement with him. The pair have been dating since 2019 and are just weeks away from getting married.
Vicky believes they’ll be “together forever” but need to protect one another financially in case things go wrong. She told The Sun: “Honestly, I’ve worked hard my whole life, and I think it’s important for women to protect themselves. I think it’s important for men to protect themselves.

“Erc and I are going to be together forever, I’ve got no doubt about that, but I think being financially responsible and protecting what you’ve worked for is smart. There’s no two ways about it.”
The star admitted the pre-nup was a “tough pill to swallow” but told the outlet she feels more protected now. SHe added: “I think it’s important. Like, I spoke to friends about it, I spoke to neighbours, I spoke to people in my industry, and it’s becoming more and more common, you know.”
Pre-nuptial agreements set out how a couple’s assets would be split should a marriage end. It’s not legally binding but courts usually consider the agreement if a marriage ends badly.
It’s perhaps not surprising the couple are being careful financially given their recent heartbreak. Vicky was devastated when her £200k diamond engagement ring was stolen from her on a train in Newcastle.
Ercan proposed to Vicky on a romantic trip to Dubai back in February 2022. The duo enjoyed a luxury yacht decorated with a disco wall, balloons and custom-made coconuts.
The couple will tie the knot at Marylebone Town Hall this summer – reportedly in front of 100 guests. They’ll then fly to Italy for another ceremony.
