Brooklyn Beckham has made his stance clear amidst an ongoing family feud.
Brooklyn, 26, the eldest son of David and Victoria Beckham, has been noticeably absent from their lives for several months following reports of a dispute involving him, his parents, wife Nicola Peltz and younger brother Romeo.
Now, Brooklyn has declared that he will “always choose” his wife Nicola Peltz, who is rumoured to be the cause of the major fallout.
In a video shared on his Instagram, Brooklyn is seen riding a red motorcycle with Nicola, 30, seated behind him, her arms encircling him as they journey down the road. He reaches back to hold and stroke her arm in the clip, which he posted with a revealing caption.
He penned: “My whole world x I will love you forever x I always choose you baby x you’re the most amazing person i know xx me and you forever baby.”
Brooklyn and Nicola reside in Los Angeles, while David and Victoria are based in the UK, reports the Mirror.
The couple missed David’s 50th birthday celebrations in both Miami and London, maintaining silence on social media for both David and Victoria’s birthdays in a significant snub to their parents. Brooklyn also chose not to publicly acknowledge his mum on Mother’s Day, failing to join his siblings in posting online tributes.
The disagreement between the family members was reportedly sparked by Romeo’s relationship with Brooklyn’s former love interest Kim Turnbull. It was claimed that Brooklyn did not trust her intentions in dating his younger brother and had refused to attend any family gathering or event where she would be present.
“Brooklyn and Romeo have been fighting for a significant amount of time,” a source told the Daily Mail. “They do not get on. It has been so difficult for David and Victoria.”
The brothers, previously inseparable and adored by their younger siblings Cruz and Harper, 13, have drifted apart, the source revealed.
“Things have been terrible for a long time. It has upset their mum and dad so much. All they ever wanted was a big, happy family.”
After Brooklyn’s post, little brother Cruz took to Instagram himself and seemingly threw some shade at his sibling. He wrote: “I love my family, I love you guys more than anything, mum and dad you gave us life and cared for us no matter what, I cannot tell you how blessed we all are to have you in our lives x.”
