Celebrity Big Brother star JoJo Siwa’s partner Kath Ebbs is yet to speak out on the closeness between the American dancer turned singer and her housemate Chris Hughes
JoJo Siwa and Chris Hughes are thick as thieves since they hit the Celebrity Big Brother scene, leaving fans all aflutter with their super close antics.
They’ve been seen snuggling in bed, scribbling on each other’s palms, clinging to one another, and even giving massages.
The 21-year-old American songstress has been an item with her beau Kath Ebbs since last year, and followers are dying to know what Kath makes of the shenanigans going down in the house. Fresh clips show Chris cosying up on JoJo’s chest under the covers.
One sweet snippet caught JoJo leading Chris in a dance outside, with Chris totally smitten, saying: “God, you look good today. I think it’s my favourite colour on you.”
Meanwhile, JoJo’s other half Kath, who identifies as non-binary and uses she/they pronouns, has kept it zipped on socials lately. The 27 year old TikTok sensation previously had JoJo’s back when Mickey Rourke spouted some homophobic nonsense about the Dance Moms alum.
Kath blasted onto TikTok, slamming Mickey’s actions as “beyond disgusting” and gushing that JoJo is the “love of their life”, reports the Mirror.
Accompanying a vid of JoJo and Mickey, Kath penned: “This is why I adore this human with all my heart. She is genuinely one of the most empathic, kind and patient people I ever met.
“Not everyone can respond to bigotry with dignity, and that’s perfectly understandable. Yet, those who manage to hold their ground and tap into their humanity, even amidst hate, give the world a remarkable gift.”
In another development, Kath has been quiet on TikTok and Instagram for five days, prompting many fans to prod them into speaking out about Chris and JoJo’s flirtatious bond.
Some haters have been having a go at Kath over Chris and JoJo’s relationship. After a recent episode showed JoJo scribbling a secret message on Chris’s hand – deemed a breach of the rules – one cruel troll taunted Kath on Instagram, saying: “Have you seen JoJo and flirting with Chris? ? ? You was quick to make a TikTok on Mickey where are you hiding now [laughing emojis]”.
Another nasty comment read: “How’s it feel knowing JoJo is flirting with Chris? I hope they hook up now.”
Kimberly Wyatt, of Pussycat Doll fame, also chimed in on the pair’s chummy relationship, revealing she feels uneasy about it given JoJo’s partner on the outside.
X (formerly Twitter) was abuzz with opinions, with one user saying: “Why can’t people see Chris and JoJo are platonic , people really do try to see the sex in everything #CBBUK,” and another agreeing: “before people get weird people that are friends like chris and jojo are allowed to have platonic intimacy and it doesn’t need to be s/xual or even romantic #CBBUK.”
