Celebrity Big Brother 2025 has kicked off, but this year’s housemates Mickey Rourke, Jack P Shepherd, Trisha Goddard and JoJo Siwa have revealed what ticks them off
War is set to break out on Celebrity Big Brother.
The iconic reality show returned to ITV on Monday (April 7). Stars such as Patsy Palmer, Mickey Rourke and TV presenter Angellica stepped into the iconic TV house, which has had a makeover.
However, many of the contestants have warned they’re likely to lose their rag during their stint in the TV house. Hollywood hardman Mickey Rourke is vowing to square up to anyone who behaves badly.
Speaking before the launch, he said: “I do not like people who are disrespectful. Respect is earned. I will earn it. If they don’t, they will know about it. Just be respectful and that’s it.”
Mickey is convinced his personality will be so divisive he’ll get booted out first. He said: “That’ll probably happen to me.”
Many celebs are ready to read the riot act to anyone being wild in the house. Olympian Daley Thompson said: “The thing I will find annoying is loud snoring and people staying up late and keeping me awake.”
Comic Donna Preston said: “I have misophonia, so any unnecessary noises just mess with my head.” Pop star JoJo Siwa said: “If someone breaks the rules, I’ll get annoyed and I know people break the rules.”
Corrie legend Jack P Shepherd has admitted he will be annoyed over any fame-hungry housemates. He said: “If someone’s just trying to be loud to try and, ‘Point the camera at me please, I need airtime’ maybe that might annoy me”
Any bullying is also likely to spark a big row. Chat show icon Trisha Goddard admits she is now more frank than ever because of her cancer diagnosis.
She said: “What I’ve been through does strip away one’s filters rather on a lot. I can’t stand bullies and people going for people. I never have been able to.”
Presenter Angellica Bell said: “I don’t like injustice. I will address it, but there are ways of doing it.” Singer Chesney Hawkes is famed for being laid back but he thinks there’s a good chance he’ll lose his cool.
He said: “I could definitely say that I’m pretty even tempered as a person, but what if I go in there and I’m completely crackers and I simply don’t seem like a balanced person. That could easily happen.”
The action continues tonight at 9pm on ITV1.
Hosts AJ Odudu and Will Best have returned as hosts – and they’ve admitted they prefer when the celebs don’t know much about the show. Will told the Metro: “Ideally, you want someone like Louis Walsh who doesn’t know the format, doesn’t know what the hell is going on.”
AJ added: “The concern can be getting a bunch of celebrities who are all media trained and know how to dodge questions, all of that jazz. What you truly want is somebody who isn’t afraid to spill the tea, give some gossip and really draw back the curtain of their celebrity lifestyle.”
