Danny Jones is reportedly in crisis talks with his wife of 11 years, Georgia Horsley, after a video emerged of him and Maura Higgins partying after the BRIT Awards
Danny Jones has been urged to address the Maura Higgins kiss claims.
Fears of a third video have sparked after the 38-year-old was caught kissing Love Island’s Maura Higgins at a BRITs afterparty. A second clip then surfaced showing the pair partying at London’s posh Nobu Hotel until the early hours.
Now, source close to Danny have told the Mirror that he and his wife of 11 years, Georgia Horsley, are in serious discussions trying to salvage their marriage. The source suggests it is time for Danny to come clean and explain what happened between him and his former I’m A Celebrity co-star.
They told The Mirror: “Everyone would understand why Danny and his wife have been quiet. They are likely working through various discussions from the first video that was released alone. With this second video, Danny needs to now speak out.”
“Maura is getting a lot of the backlash and Danny seems to be getting away with his actions as a husband who was supposed to have been in love with his wife for over a decade. Danny’s career should be halted at this point and he should be big enough to now speak out to everyone and explain what has happened and take some accountability.”
They also said that the situation is “unfair” on Georgia who “seems to have put the family and marriage first”. The source continued: “Who knows if another video will emerge, but being honest is now the only way that this has a chance of resolving itself,” reports the Mirror.
Maura recently flew off to Los Angeles for an “exciting shoot”. The star posted a picture from the plane from Heathrow following the drama that ensued after she was spotted kissing Danny at the BRITs afterparty.
The Mirror reported on Saturday that Danny’s actions have been a “slap in the face for Georgia”, who has put her own career on hold for his. During his stint in the jungle, she was seen breaking down in tears as she struggled with moving house, parenting alone and working.
On a recent episode of the Parenting Hell podcast, Danny spoke to hosts Rob Beckett and Josh Widdicombe about what happened back at home during his jungle adventure: “I left my wife to move house all by herself. I’m surprised she’s still with me, to be honest.”
