Love Island stars Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury were spotted walking through Manchester airport jetting off on a trip, following rumours they’ve rekindled their romance
Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury have been spotted at the airport.
The couple, who met on the 2019 series of Love Island, shocked fans when they announced their split in August of 2024. They called off their engagement and Molly has since opened up about their split – and fears of being a single mum – in her Amazon Prime doc, Behind It All.
Tommy, 25, has revealed alcohol problems were the real cause of their split, firmly denying claims he cheated on Molly, also 25. He and Molly now live separately and continue to co-parent their two-year-old daughter Bambi.
However, the pair have sparked speculation that they’ve rekindled their romance on several occasions. They were spotted sharing a kiss at a New Year’s Eve party and have been seen together numerous times; Tommy even rocked up to their Cheshire mansion on Valentine’s Day.
And, in what could be another sign the pair have gotten back together, Tommy and Molly were spotted walking through Manchester airport this week with daughter Bambi. They were apparently jetting off on a family holiday as, according to the Mirror, the pair were then spotted in Dubai.
Molly spoke out following the New Year’s Eve kiss, admitting she and Tommy are having a “really complicated time”. Speaking ahead of her Behind It All doc release, she said: “I think it’s just, we are navigating a really complicated time in both of our lives, in the public eye, and I think this is a whole new territory for me.
“Tommy and I’s relationship, It’s always been in the public eye always, but to deal with this breakup with millions of eyes watching it is hard and it is complicated. And I think the reason why I don’t comment on it, and why I don’t speak about it on my YouTube or publicly is because simply, we both are navigating it ourselves, and we both are figuring it out as adults and as parents, and yeah, we’re doing the best we can.”
She added: “But I really do feel like the documentary is gonna answer a lot of questions, and we also do touch on that situation. The last thing I want is any confusion.
“And I don’t ever want people to feel confused by things that are going on. So, yeah, we’ve tried to explain things as best we can.”
Boxer Tommy revealed that it was his alcohol issues that led to his and Molly’s shock split. He told Men’s Health: “”All I’ve been seeing for the past six months, ‘Cheater!’, ‘He slept with me!’, ‘He slept with this girl, he slept with that girl!’ Complete and utter b******,” he said.
“We broke up because I had a problem with alcohol and I couldn’t be the partner that I wanted to be anymore. It kills me to say it, but I couldn’t…”
“Cheating was never a thing. You can ask Molly this yourself. It was the drink and the drink is not a good thing. You need to get a grip of it.
“If you’re in the same spot as me where you just think that it’s going to cure all your problems, it doesn’t. You just wake up even worse and you want to drink more to try and feel happy again. That’s the cycle of it.
Tommy went on: “It’s not like I’d get up in the morning and start drinking, but rather than sit in bed all day and fester, I’d think ‘Why not go out?’
“Where I’d normally be in camp, I’d just be smashing Guinness left and centre and then later on in the night shots would come out. Most nights I would drink to get blackout drunk. I think that’s what really took its toll on me.”
But it never affected him being a dad – that was something he made sure of. Tommy said: “Being a father, I didn’t care how bad I felt in the morning or how rough I was, I’d be up at quarter past seven, waking the baby up, giving her a breakfast, making her breakfast, taking her to soft play, taking her to swimming, taking her to baby ballet.
“It was still very important for me while I was going through this stage to be like, ‘Okay, I want everything to be the same in her life’. I was big on keeping her routine the same. That’s why nobody really clocked on, because during the day the normality was still there.”
