Unreleased tracks from Beyonce and other confidential documents are rumoured to have been stolen from a hire car.

Just two days before the Crazy In Love sensation kicked off her four-night stint at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta as part of her ongoing Cowboy Carter tour, thieves allegedly targeted a rental vehicle used by the singer’s choreographer and one of her dancers.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, an incident report suggests the theft took place on July 8, with the culprits making off with hard drives packed with “watermarked music, some unreleased music, footage plans for the show and past and future set lists”.

Choreographer Christopher Grant and dancer Diandre Blue reportedly told police they parked in a deck just after 8pm.

Upon returning to the motor an hour later, it appears someone had forced their way into the car via the boot, taking two suitcases.

Alongside the hard drives, the robbers are believed to have nabbed clothes, MacBooks and AirPods Max headphones belonging to team members.

As per Atlanta’s ABC station WSB-TV, the police have issued an arrest warrant for a suspect.

The Atlanta Police Department shared with the media outlet: “Preliminary investigation revealed a Jeep Wagoneer was broken into at the location and two suitcases had been stolen.

“Investigators with the Atlanta Police Department’s Larceny from Auto Unit led the investigation and have subsequently secured an arrest warrant for a suspect.”

The rental car was dusted for prints, revealing two sets, and security camera footage was obtained.

According to an incident report acquired by The Hollywood Reporter, officers managed to trace the AirPods and laptops using Apple’s Find My feature.

The exact locations were omitted in the documents, but it’s reported that officers conducted a “suspicious person stop” in the area pinpointed by the AirPods.
