Olympian Adam Peaty and model Holly Ramsay’s wedding was highly publicised, but even now new interesting details about the newlyweds’ big day are still emerging
Adam Peaty and Holly Ramsay’s was full of secretive moments.
Olympic swimmer Adam, who previously competed for England, and model Holly, who is Gordon and Tana Ramsay’s daughter, said “I do” at Bath Abbey in a gloriously star-studded ceremony.
The big day was widely documented and pictures of the blushing bride and her handsome husband flooded social media both before and after they tied the knot.
However, new details about the Ramsay-Peaty wedding have emerged, including what the guests ate, the strict dress code and Victoria Beckham’s kind-hearted gesture.
Scroll on to uncover new information about Adam and Holly’s wedding day, which was one of the most highly-anticipated celebrity weddings of 2025.
Invites
The invites, sent out way before the big day even took place, were designed by Holly with Smythson.
The wedding invite read: “Mr and Mrs Gordon Ramsay request the pleasure of your company at the marriage of their daughter Miss Holly Anna to Mr Adam George Peaty at Bath Abbey, Bath on Saturday 27th December 2025 at 12 o’clock and afterwards at Kin House, Kington Langley.”
An invite for the previous night’s party to kick things off read: “You are invited to The Night Before. Holly and Adam, Friday 26th December 2025 5pm – 9pm Kin house, Kington Langley. Dress code: cocktail.”
As for the next morning, the spouses asked: “You are invited to The Day After. Please join Holly and Adam for brunch. Sunday 28th December 2025 12pm – 4pm. Kin House, Kington Langley. Dress code: Smart casual.”
Dress and Outfits
Holly carried a bouquet of gorgeous white flowers as her sisters and maids of honour Megan and Tilly Ramsay joined her for the ceremony. Adam’s sister Bethany also attended as a bridesmaid.
The bridal party were all dressed by Victoria Beckham, a family friend of her father and mother. The red silk maxi dresses featured high necklines, cinched waists, floor-length skirts and a gorgeous deep wine crimson hue.
Victoria herself attended the big day alongside husband David Beckham. She wore a stunning deep blue gown with a low, plunging slit down her chest, long sleeves, a floor-length skirt and a drop waist.
Holly’s lace-adorned dress was a breath-taking Ellie Saab number: “I knew this custom gown was the one. Created by the incredible Elie Saab team with my own custom changes.”
She told Vogue: “I’ve always loved Grace Kelly and Kate Middleton’s gowns, that beautiful high neckline, super feminine.”
She also added a pair of Amina Muaddi shoes, which Adam had gifted to her for Christmas the previous year: “I know immediately I would save them for our wedding day.”
Holly later changed into her mother Tana Ramsay’s wedding dress from the 90s as a special nod to her parent on her big day: “I’ve always loved the idea of bringing in mum’s dress at some point.”
Her third dress was a short, strapless sequin mini dress with a fluffy trim on the skirt, paired with white heels.
Guests
The only member of Adam’s family in attendance was his sister Bethany. The Peaty family had a widely-publicised fall out before the big day on 27 December, and body language expert Judi James reckons the snaps “say it all”.
She told The Mirror: “His back is ramrod straight, and his chest puffed and splayed in a ritual of alpha pride. He looks straight into the camera with a confident stare and there are no denial signals or micro-rituals to define anything other than happy achievement.”
“His expression looks resilient, like a man who has achieved or got exactly what he wanted and who wants the world to know it.”
Dinner
The newlyweds entered their wedding dinner to ABBA’s Take A Chance on me, which they described as “magic,” and Holly’s celebrity chef father Gordon Ramsay was reportedly “extremely involved” in the process of designing the dinner menu.
The Hell’s Kitchen legend also oversaw the wedding breakfast. MailOnline reported that guests were treated to a wedding banquet featuring prawn cocktail, beef wellington, pan-roasted halibut and tarte tatin.
A traditional wedding cake was reportedly also served as dessert at 8pm.
Seems the food went down a treat as former BBC Breakfast star Dan Walker took to Instagram to say: “Amazing […] For all those asking about the food… YES… it was insanely good.”
Dragons’ Den star Sara Davies also complimented: “It was such a special day and I’m sure you’ll not be surprised to hear me say, it was hands down the best wedding food I’ve ever had.”
