Ross Kemp has been branded “insensitive” following the news he’s set to appear in a new ITV coronavirus documentary.
The star visited frontline NHS workers at Milton Keynes Hospital, who are tackling the coronavirus pandemic as well as following the patients who are fighting the virus.
He also visited the intensive care unit at the Hospital as part of the filming.
However, with people not allowed to see their loved ones who are currently fighting for their lives in hospital, many branded Ross “disgusting” for “waltzing” into hospital with a camera crew.

Taking to Twitter, the former EastEnders actor posted a video of himself dressed in scrubs as he revealed the details of his new show.
Underneath the clip, he wrote: “I’ve just been fitted for PPE and we’re about to go into an intensive care unit at Milton Keynes Hospital to witness the incredible efforts of medics treating Covid 19 patients.
“Please note we won’t be depleting the hospital’s PPE stock.”

But his clip didn’t get the response he intended, with many blasting Ross.
One wrote: “Good heavens above. People are dying, unable to see their relatives in their last few days. But somehow Ross Kemp can film them dying for our amusement?! Jesus wept. Just when you think TV can’t sink any further…”
“I think the Government should ban this by so-called celebs. Going into these units in hosp. Disgusting of Ross Kemp. He has no right being there. Everyone is fully aware of the dire situation these people are in. Vile behaviour to promote himself,” another fumed.

A third put: “Bit insensitive to the families that can’t see their loved ones, the last person patients will want to see is ross kemp and a film crew wandering about
“Do you have a relative in hospital but are prevented from seeing them due to the coronavirus lockdown? No problem. Get yourself a camera crew and off you go. Daysafter BBC and ITV film crews waltzed into intensive care units in England, TV actor Ross Kemp, follows suit,” a fourth exclaimed.
He was fitted with PPE equipment, and revealed that his team have replaced any stocks which they used to ensure that NHS stock wasn’t depleted.
Daily Star Online has contacted Ross Kemp’s spokesman for comment.
