Love Island star Chris Hughes is said to be treating his recent split from Little Mix babe Jesy Nelson as a break.
The hunk, who recently went on a Twitter rant at people accusing Cheltenham Races 2020 of spreading coronavirus, is understood to be sure he can win Jesy over as soon as lockdown restrictions are lifted.
An insider has insisted that despite their public break up Chris is still “madly in love” with Jesy and is “convinced she’s just struggling with being apart from him”.
A source told The Sun: “Chris is absolutely convinced that he is going to be getting back with Jesy just as soon as isolation ends and they can be together again.

“As far as he is concerned, this split is just temporary and actually it’s more of a break than a break-up.”
A rep for Chris has been contacted by Daily Star Online.
The unknown insider adds that Jesy’s friends also feel like they are destined to rekindle their love once coronavirus passes.
Jesy and Chris went into lockdown in separate parts of the country and are believed to have ended their romance over the phone.

It was said to be “very amicable” and that they have remained friends.
A source said: “Jesy rang Chris and led the conversation about their relationship and both agreed that it felt like it had run its course – they’re both absolutely fine.”
Jesy and Chris were together for 16 months before calling it quits.

During that time they often covered social media with loved up pictures and clips of each other.
In January Chris was Jesy’s date to the 2020 National Television Awards where she won a gong for her emotional BBC documentary Odd One Out.
Sadly despite their united front at the awards, Chris was seen letting rip at a waiting photographer outside there London hotel after the snapper allegedly branded him a “c***”.
