Gemma Collins drinks prosecco and eats a seafood platter in Diva Lockdown

Gemma Collins has given fans a sneak preview of her upcoming show Diva in Lockdown.

The TOWIE star was set to film her second series of Diva Forever, but with the UK on lockdown in a bid to prevent the spread of Covid-19, she decided to invite cameras into her sprawling abode instead.

With her home currently rigged with filming equipment, the show, set to air on ITVBe on Sunday at 9pm, will follow the star as she adjusts to living within her four walls.

In a clip uploaded to Twitter, the self-proclaimed diva admitted she wasn’t going to let the current isolation restrictions get in the way of her boujee lifestyle and insisted on opening a bottle of bubbles.

While restaurants, bars and cafes have closed due to coronavirus, Gemma wasn’t going to be reaching for a microwaveable meal and insisted on having a slap-up meal while in lockdown.

During the clip, she said: “You know there are dangers, but I am gonna self-isolate and if I’m self-isolating, I’m self-isolating in style.

“I’m kick-starting off my self-isolation with seafood and prosecco and mash.”

In true GC style, she quickly knocked back the bubbles, and then proceeds to ask: “Where’s my bread roll?”

She captioned the teaser video: “4 days!”

And her army of loyal fans couldn’t hide their glee as they soon left several adoring comments underneath the clip.

One wrote: “This is hands down the best thing to happen during lockdown.”

While another chipped in: “The queen is here for us in our hour of need.”

“I can’t wait for this,” a third added.

Gemma previously announced she had to halt filming the second series of her Diva Forever show due to the outbreak, and urged her fans to follow the Government’s restrictions.

“Guys, it’s important to listen to advice from the government at this time and ‘stop the spread.’

“We’re in the middle of shooting a new Diva series but we’re going to pause filming with our crew to adhere to the social distancing guidelines.”

We can’t wait for this…
