Ricky Gervais has opened fire once again, this time taking aim at preachy “multi-millionaires” during the coronavirus pandemic.
The Derek star, certainly didn’t hold his tongue as he began to lash out at the rich and famous for a second time.
Speaking candidly in an interview with BBC Radio 5 Live, he first began to air his views about the Imagine video filmed by Gal Gadot and her celebrity pals.
Insinuating that the stars used the opportunity as publicity stunt, the comedian quipped: “It was an awful rendition, but they might have been doing it for good reasons, to help these normal nobodies.

“But they’re going ‘My film’s coming up and I’m not on telly – I need to be in the public eye’, not all of them but some of them.
“You can see in their eye, I could, ‘I’d cry at the beauty of my personality, I’m just so beautiful for doing this’ and everyone sees that, we get it.”
Gal Gadot, alongside many A-list chums, sang the iconic John Lennon hit, although spectators were quick to add criticism on social media with some suggesting it was ‘out of touch’.

In the interview, his frustrations quickly turned towards “multi-millionaires” as he stuck his claws in and took another swipe.
He scoffed: “For a start, you won’t hear me complain – not when there’s nurses doing 14 hours shifts – and frontline workers carrying on and risking their health.
“There are people in high rise blocks with three kids, I can’t complain, this is why millionaires in their mansions with their gym and going for a swim can’t lecture people.”
Continuing to vent, he added: “People are sick of being lectured by multi-millionaires telling them to clean out their coffee jar and put it in the right bin, they know those celebs are taking private jets to their private islands. They are sick of it.”

The 58-year-old who recently condemn celebrities who complained during lockdown.
Speaking to The Sun, Ricky praised the NHS, addressing those who were actually struggling, working lengthy shifts, before lashing out at people sat outside their mansions complaining.
Continuing to add fuel to the fire, he was then caught in the act liking a tweet – which was later deleted – that read: “The f***ing Beckhams, sorry I’m done with them now.”
The tweet landed after it was reported that Victoria Beckham wanted to enter 30 employees into the government furlough scheme and received public scrutiny for her considerations.
