Gobsmacked Haunting of Bly Manor fans realise creepy girl is voice of Peppa Pig

Netflix viewers have been shocked to discover a creepy little girl in Haunting of Bly Manor is actually the voice of Peppa Pig – and they can’t get her voice out of her head.

Flora, played by Amelie Bea Smith, stars alongside Victoria Pedretti, from You, in the nail-biting series.

But when social media users realised the 11-year-old is actually better known for portraying the cartoon character, they told how they couldn’t “unhear” Peppa.

Taking to Twitter, one person wrote: “Me: Why does Flora’s voice in Bly Manor seem so eerily familiar?

“Me: OH MY GOD SHE’S PEPPA PIG.”

A third said: “Apparently Flora from The Haunting of Bly Manor is the voice actress for Peppa Pig??? I can’t unhear this anymore.”

Someone else commented: “No wonder Flora sounds so familiar she’s literally Peppa Pig. It’s perfectly splendid!!”

While this person wrote: “The girl who played flora voiced peppa pig? excuse me I can’t .”

Others joked about Peppa saying “perfectly splendid,” the cartoon pig’s catchphrase.

The creepy show, which stars Victoria Pedretti and Rahul Kohli, is the new series set in the UK in the 80s, and is loosely based on the 1898 horror novella The Turn of the Screw.

The story tells of a young American governess hired by a man called Henry Wingrave to look after his niece and nephew at the family country house after they fall into his care.

Arriving at the Bly estate to care for the children with the estate’s chef Owen, groundskeeper Jamie and housekeeper, Mrs. Grose, they begin to see apparitions that haunt the premises.

After binging the show, some fans have rushed to their personal Twitter accounts to share their thoughts.

One wrote: “If you ain’t watching the haunting of bly manor through squinted eyes and the cracks of your fingers, lose my number and @. Psychopath.”

A second tweeted: “The haunting of bly manor is perfectly splendid.”

“I’m watching the haunting of bly manor and i forgot rahul kohli was in it so now i have to watch it without covering my eyes when the scary parts are showing,” said another.

One viewer commented: “Binge watching The Haunting of Bly Manor! Its sooooo good!!!”
