It has been claimed that Dominic West’s marriage to Catherine FitzGerald is “as good as over” after he reportedly “confessed to having feelings” for actress Lily James.
According to The Sun, Catherine’s friends say she’s ready to “pull the plug” on her relationship with the 51-year-old The Wire actor.
A family friend is said to have told the publication: “Catherine has told those closest to her that Dominic has admitted having feelings for Lily.
“At first it seemed as though the whole thing was just a one-off but Catherine has since said it’s become obvious it was more than that.

“Catherine feels crushed by it, naturally. It’s a huge thing to be coming to terms with.
“She has since told the people closest to her their marriage is as good as over now and she doesn’t think there is a way past this.”

The Wire actor Dominic West was seen embracing Lily James during a trip to Rome last month.
Soon after it made headlines, the actor told how his marriage to wife Catherine Fitzgerald is “strong” as he kissed her outside their home.
The actor said outside their Wiltshire cottage: “I just want to say our marriage is strong and we are very much still together”, The Sun reported.

Despite this Dominic was not wearing his wedding ring and Catherine’s ring finger wasn’t visible as her hand was in her pocket.
In the photos, published by MailOnline, Dominic is seen leaning into Lily’s neck and touching her hair as they dined outside at a restaurant.
He was also seen with his arms around the movie star as they rode a scooter and donned face masks.
