Ant McPartlin's ex Lisa Armstrong wows with 'gorgeous' New Year's Eve makeover

Famed for doing the makeup of the stars on Strictly Come Dancing, Lisa Armstrong is a dab-hand when it comes to glamorous makeovers.

Painting her own face with some New Year’s Eve sparkle on Thursday, the cosmetics guru, 44, snapped a stunning selfie to ring in the new year.

Holding up a glass of bubbly to the camera, Lisa, who was formerly married to TV personality Ant McPartlin, flashed a glittering smile at the lens.

Her brown eyes popped with a dusting of pink shimmering eyeshadow, and her lips were coated with a dash of rose pink lippy.

Lisa’s skin glowed with a sweep of golden highlighter, and her brows were immaculately groomed as she beamed at the camera.

Her hair – which has been highlighted with shades of caramel blonde – was tucked behind her ears, and she worked a silver pendant necklace by way of accessories.

Sharing the snapshot to Instagram, she wrote: “Happy New Year to one and all!!!

“Stay Safe, Healthy and Happy….. Here’s to a better 2021 Lots of love xxxx.”

“Happy New Year lovely lady xx,” wrote one fan.

“Beautiful lady,” gushed a second admirer, as a third chimed: “Gorgeous…”

No doubt, Lisa took advantage of her own line of cosmetics when it came to her elegant New Year’s Eve makeup look.

Released back in October, Lisa collaborated with Avon to craft a selection of foundations and powders, as well as lip and eye products.

Opening up about the product drop, she said: “I’m never going to say ‘you have to do this and buy that and apply them in this order […]’, as far as I’m concerned, you can use a sponge, a brush, fingers, there’s no right or wrong way.

“The point is that you can wear any of my collection, it’s all so easy, flattering and wearable.”
