Piers Morgan has been spotted for the first time since his sudden Good Morning Britain exit.
The 55-year-old presenter resigned from the ITV breakfast show on Tuesday over comments he made about The Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle.
He was pictured walking his daughter Elise to school in Kensington on Wednesday morning, while Ranvir Singh hosted the ITV programme alongside his former co-star Susanna Reid.
Piers sported a relaxed look for his day of dad duties and nine-year-old Elise kept herself warm by wearing a bright yellow hat and a cream coat.
Speaking outside his London home before walking Elise to school, the TV star described his departure from the show as “amicable”, adding: “I had a good chat with ITV and we agreed to disagree.

“I’m just going to take it easy and see how we go.
“I believe in freedom of speech, I believe in the right to be allowed to have an opinion. If people want to believe Meghan Markle, that’s entirely their right.
“I don’t believe almost anything that comes out of her mouth and I think the damage she’s done to the British monarchy and to the Queen at a time when Prince Philip is lying in hospital is enormous and frankly contemptible.”
He continued: “If I have to fall on my sword for expressing an honestly held opinion about Meghan Markle and that diatribe of bilge that she came out with in that interview, so be it.”

The outspoken presenter went on to suggest that he will come back fighting.
He said: “I think it’s fair to say, although the woke crowd will think that they’ve cancelled me, I think they will be rather disappointed when I re-emerge.
“I would call it a temporary hibernation.”
He added that he is “always in talks with people”.

Asked what he would say to his Good Morning Britain colleague, Alex Beresford, with whom he had a heated debate during Tuesday’s show, Piers said: “Good luck to him.”
ITV announced on Tuesday that Piers has decided to leave his role after over five years as anchor on the ITV breakfast show.
The decision comes after Ofcom revealed that it had received more than 41,000 complaints over the presenter’s claims he believed Meghan , 39, had “lied” about feeling suicidal.

The official statement read: “Following discussions with ITV, Piers Morgan has decided now is the time to leave Good Morning Britain.
“ITV has accepted this decision and has nothing further to add.”
Mental health charity Mind also chastised Piers’ comments, labelling them “disappointing”.
Speaking about Piers’ departure on Wednesday’s show, Susanna, 50, said: “He is without a doubt an outspoken, challenging, opinionated, disruptive broadcaster. He has many critics and he has many fans.
“You will know that I disagreed with him about Meghan’s interview. He himself clarified his comments about her mental health on the show yesterday. There are many voices on GMB and everyone has their say.”
“Now Piers has decided to leave the programme. Some of you may cheer,” Susanna went on.
“He has been my presenting partner Monday to Wednesday for more than five years and during Brexit and the pandemic and other issues he has been a voice for many of you, and a voice that many of you have railed against.
“It is certainly going to be very different. But shows go on, and so on we go.”
Since the news of Piers’ exit, GMB fans have been speculating who will replace the star on a permanent basis.
Alex Beresford, Ben Shephard and Ranvir Singh’s names have all popped up in various discussions online.
