Eagle-eyed Emmerdale fans are convinced that Leanna did not really die on the popular soap, after they spot her doppelgänger on Love Island.
On Emmerdale earlier this month Leanna discovered that Meena stole money from the gay pride collection in the village and tried to frame Jacob, as well as learning Meena murdered her best friend Nadine.
Leanna tried to escape but Meena soon confronted her and threw her off a bridge to her death.
However, some fans are sure that the character has risen up from the dead after they saw Mary Bedford in Casa Amor.
The Love Island newcomer and Leanna actress Mimi Slinger look almost identical and had many viewers seeing double.
One fan tweeted: “Omg Leanna from Emmerdale did NOT die guys!! She actually just moved to Casa Amor!!”
“Leanna off Emmerdale was lobbed over that bridge on her birthday to be resurrected as Mary and snatch away Toby in Casa Amor,” joked another.
Someone else echoed: “Leanna from Emmerdale got a new job pretty quick”
A fourth asked: “Anyone else think that Marry looks like Leanna from Emmerdale’s older sister??”
“Why is nobody talking about how Mimi Slinger (aka Leanna from emmerdale) and Mary look so similar??” questioned a fifth.
Meanwhile Toby Aromolaran angered viewers when he chose to couple up with Mary, leaving previous partner Abigail Rawlings single.
Abigail had stayed faithful to Toby, in the hopes that he would do the same, but in Casa Amor the Islander grew closer to Mary, even sharing a kiss.
When asked why he chose to recouple Toby responded: “Going [to] Casa Amor was kind of like a clean slate. With Mary, it’s just from the get go, there was no pressure on the situation.
“She’s an attractive, beautiful girl, inside and out, so if I wanna come back, I’m gonna bring something back I had with someone else.”
He also said he was “shocked” that Abigail had chosen to remain loyal to him, stating it was only “early days” for them, and assumed she would have recoupled as well.
