EastEnders’ actress Kellie Bright has welcomed her third child after using IVF with her husband Paul Stocker to conceive their newborn, it has been confirmed.
The beauty confirmed her pregnancy earlier this year after a challenging time attempting to conceive through IVF.
Now she has welcomed her third child alongside her two youngsters, Freddy, 9 and Gene, 4.
Kellie confirmed the news to OK! as she said: “We’re thrilled to announce the safe arrival of the latest addition to our family. Mum and baby are doing well.”
The actress also shared a photo of her newborn with a snap of their hand gripped tightly around Kellie’s finger in a heart-warming photo.
Kellie is yet to pop anything on her own socials and it seems she is taking the moment to celebrate the latest addition to her little family.
She previously told the publication how she was left in floods of tears and couldn’t stop crying after finding out that she was pregnant with their third child.
They had struggled in the lead-up to the pregnancy and in the early days, but once she found out she was pregnant she said she “couldn’t believe” what she was seeing.
Kelly revealed it was her last chance to try, after previously revealing that she stored three extra embryos after giving birth to Gene, but the first two were unsuccessful.
At the time, Kelly said she felt like she wasn’t “done” with having children, adding: “I always had an itch, a desire to have more. My husband and I went round in circles for a couple of years deciding whether or not to just go for third.”
She confessed that she grew attached to the other embryos, adding that she “couldn’t let it go”, which ultimately saw the pair try for their third child.
Kellie’s pregnancy came alongside her character Linda Carter’s pregnancy on EastEnders.
It followed a storyline which saw Linda have an affair with Max Branning while married to Mick Carter, and Max is the true father of her baby.
Despite this, Mick and Linda will be welcoming another Carter into their home and showering their new youngster with love – but they’re keeping the true identity of the new baby’s father a secret from everyone else.
But in EastEnders, things rarely stay buried for long.
